Other brewers, take notes—this is how you do an NA IPA. Sunshine State Tropical IPA is a stunner, easily one of the best nonalcoholic beers I’ve had, and hands down the best in its category. More than once, I’ve handed it to someone without telling them it’s NA, and they just thought it was a damn good beer—because it is.

Can Art

A tropical IPA deserves a tropical vibe, and Go Brewing delivers with a funky, colorful iguana basking in the beachy glow. It’s got that high-end craft beer look—bold, bright, and inviting. One star docked for poor labeling; you need an eagle eye to spot that this is a nonalcoholic IPA.

Look

This beer practically radiates sunshine—it pours beautifully golden and slightly hazy, like a sunset in a glass. The only downside? Almost no head and zero lacing, but honestly, who cares when it looks this good?

Smell

The aroma is subtle but inviting, with a gentle waft of peach that never veers into artificial territory. It’s fresh, fruity, and just enough to get your taste buds primed.

Mouthfeel

Thick but not heavy, this IPA has a smooth, rounded body thanks to the oats. Carbonation is light, but it works—nothing harsh, just easy-drinking bliss.

Taste

When you first take it out of the fridge and pour it, Sunshine State Tropical IPA reads as a Hazy IPA, both in appearance and flavor. As this NA IPA warms up, the mango and peach come to the forefront, interplaying with a solid hop presence, and it drinks like the tropical IPA it is. A slight medicinal note in the aftertaste, but it’s fleeting and far from a dealbreaker.

Final Verdict

Go Brewing’s Sunshine State Tropical IPA is an absolute knockout, proving that NA beer can be just as bold, flavorful, and satisfying as its alcoholic counterparts. I’ll be keeping my fridge stocked with this one!
