★★★★★
Hoppy Poppy by Figueroa Mountain is a fun little nonalcoholic beer that will have you enjoying the sunshine without the buzz.
Packaging
The packaging is a real winner. Those vibrant orange poppies and the inviting color scheme draw you in—definitely a bright spot in a sea of label sameness.
Look
Pour it out, and you’re greeted with a pretty, goldish-orange hue that’s slightly opaque. One downside? The head fizzles away faster than you can say “cheers.”
Smell
On the nose, it’s a bit lackluster. You’ll catch a whiff of light citrusy hops, but don’t expect to be blown away.
Mouthfeel
The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with a carbonation level that leans toward the high side. It’s enjoyable, but maybe just a tad too bubbly for my liking.
Taste
The flavor profile shines with citrusy hops taking the lead. It’s a well-balanced dance where the hops proudly take center stage without overwhelming your palate.
Clone
Sadly, I was unable to locate the alcoholic version when writing this review. If you’ve had it, let us know in the comments how they compare!
Final Verdict
Overall, Hoppy Poppy is a delightful sip for those sunny afternoons. It’s a refreshing companion for soaking up the rays without the worry of a hangover. Cheers to that!
