Can Art
Ignoring the fact that green glass is a terrible choice for beer due to how much light it lets in, the bottle itself looks fine. It has the classic European light lager aesthetic, but nothing particularly exciting. And what kind of name is “Original”? Original Bad Beer?
Look
Probably the best part of the whole experience. A pleasing clear golden color, with a nice head and decent lacing. Unfortunately, it’s all downhill from here.
Smell
I wish it had no smell. Instead, it just reeks of fake beer, like something designed to trick your senses into thinking it’s the real deal—but failing miserably.
Mouthfeel
In theory, it mimics a European lager’s body, but the taste is so distracting that it’s hard to even focus on the mouthfeel.
Taste
Bad. No, really bad. Overly sweet with no hops, weird tea-like tannins, and a vaguely swampy quality. Ever accidentally swallowed lake water? That, but with bubbles and somehow worse.
Final Verdict
If this is your only choice, ask for water.
