Alesmith NA IPA is a solid, drinkable, unspectacular beer. It delivers exactly what you’d expect from a nonalcoholic American IPA—nothing more, nothing less.
Can Art
Aesthetically appealing but pretty basic. It looks clean and well-designed, but nothing about it really stands out.
Look
Don’t let the pic fool you, this beer pours a nice golden color with a fantastic, long-lasting head. I set it down for half an hour after pouring, and when I came back, the head was still thick and creamy. That’s impressive.
Smell
Classic IPA aromas, but nothing particularly bold. The hops are present, but they don’t jump out at you.
Mouthfeel
This is a really satisfying beer to drink. The carbonation is well-balanced, and the body feels just right. If mouthfeel matters to you, this one delivers.
Taste
A clean, well-executed American IPA. The flavors are balanced, there are no off notes, and it avoids the raw wort taste that plagues some NA beers.
Final Verdict
Alesmith NA IPA won’t blow you away, but it’s a reliable, enjoyable option. If I saw it on a menu, I wouldn’t hesitate to order it. Solid, easy-drinking, and well-made.
