Wit’s Peak by Athletic Brewing is a solid nonalcoholic option that impresses despite not being my go-to style.

Packaging

Let’s kick things off with the label. It’s that classic Athletic Brewing vibe—simple, yet the baby blue and orange combo is pretty eye-catching. Still, I wish they’d shake things up a bit and push the creative envelope.

Look

The beer pours a pale yellow and is slightly hazy, but I was hoping for a thicker head with a bit more retention. Just a little more visual appeal wouldn’t hurt.

Smell

The nose delivers pleasant aromas of citrus and coriander without overwhelming you or turning off your senses. The wheat makes its presence known, adding to the inviting nose.

Mouthfeel

It’s got a light body and smooth feel—likely thanks to the wheat. Nothing too heavy here, making it quite easy to sip.

Taste

Wit’s Peak nails the Belgian white style with refreshing flavors of citrus, coriander, and wheat. They come together in a zesty, enjoyable flavor that’s perfect for quenching your thirst.

Final Verdict

While Belgian whites aren’t my favorite style, Wit’s Peak is well-made and very drinkable. On a lazy summer afternoon, this beer could easily become your go-to. If you’re into Belgian whites, give it a whirl.
