vs Alcoholic Version |
Looks like a Blue Moon, smells kind of like one, but the taste just isn’t there. A swing and a miss on what could have been a solid NA option.
Packaging
No mistaking it—it’s a Blue Moon. Swaps out the navy for a white background, but keeps the familiar branding and layout.
Look
Visually close to the original, though slightly lighter in color. Pours clean but lacks that iconic hazy, dark orange glow.
Smell
Strong candied orange aroma that veers into artificial territory. Not the fresh, zesty citrus you’d hope for. Fairly unpleasant.
Mouthfeel
Carbonation is on point, similar to the alcoholic version, but the body is watery and thin. Feels a bit lifeless.
Taste
This is where it falls apart. Overpowering fake orange flavor with none of the subtle spice or wheat notes of the original. The aftertaste lingers in the worst way. Difficult to finish even one.
Final Verdict
The other 5 of this six pack will be sitting in my fridge until I can pass them off on someone less discerning.
