vs Alcoholic Version |
My first ever NA on tap—not my favorite beer, but it’ll always hold a special place for that reason alone.
Can Art
I had this on tap, and I don’t think it’s available in cans. So, no points awarded (or taken away) here.
Look
Looks great. Crystal clear with a beautiful golden hue and a thick, foamy head that gives it real presence in the glass.
Smell
Super nutty—way more than the alcoholic version. The original leans toward pistachio, but this one leans into generic mixed-nut territory. Not bad, just different.
Mouthfeel
Pleasant overall, but a little thin. The alcoholic version has a more rounded, balanced feel. This one doesn’t quite fill the mouth the same way.
Taste
This is where the difference really shows. The alcoholic version benefits from a touch more sugar, which helps balance the nuttiness. The NA version feels a bit off-balance and thin by comparison. It also lacks the slight alcohol warmth that gives the original some depth. For a clone, it misses the mark slightly.
Final Verdict
I drank two at the bar, but honestly, if there had been another NA option, one would’ve been enough. Still, a cool milestone to have my first NA beer on tap, and kudos to Indeed for catering to a wider audience.
